WELCOME TO PROGENY ACADEMY
NOW ENROLLING GRADES K-8th FOR THE 2024-2025 SCHOOL YEAR
Progeny Academy Charter School (PACS), located in Brooklyn Center, MN, is public charter school established in 2019. PACS currently operates an Elementary/Middle site grades K-8. Students admitted to Progeny Academy will be placed in the appropriate grade based on their age and previous schooling. Progeny Academy follows Minnesota Statute 124E.11 in its enrollment practices.
PACS School enrolls students of any race, color, national and ethnic origin to all the rights, privileges, programs, and activities generally accorded or made available at the school. It does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, national and ethnic origin in the administration of its educational policies, enrollment policies, or athletic and other school-administered programs.
APPLICATION
Application for enrollment to PACS is open to all students that live in the state of Minnesota. PACS is a tuition-free public charter school, and there are no fees to apply. PACS sometimes receives more applications than space available. Should the number of applications exceed the number of spaces available in any grade, a lottery will be held in May. The lottery generates a waiting list in which offers of enrollment are made.
Applications are due by April 30. Applications received by the deadline will be included in the Enrollment Lottery on May 15.
PREFERENCES
- According to Minnesota law governing charter schools, enrollment preference is given to siblings of currently enrolled PACS students. The sibling must be related biologically, by marriage, or adoption. A foster child of a currently enrolled PACS student’s parents is also eligible.
- Children of PACS employees are also given enrollment preference

STEP 3: Once there is an opening; You will be contacted by PACS with more information, and an Enrollment packet will be shared with you to complete.
STEP 4: Fill out the application forms and submit the Enrollment packet along with supporting documentation to PACS.
